THE STORY
'A Thorn In Their Side' follows four children - Jonathan, Kelsey, Tara and Charlie - as they must go on a journey through magical lands to defeat the evil and newley released vampire, Thorn.
DESIGNING THE CHILDREN
JONATHAN
Jonathan is described to be a typical teenage boy: moody, easily embarrassed and irritable - but as hot headed as he is, he does mean well and tries his best.
KELSEY
Kelsey is optimistic and enthusiastic about all things magic - so when a fairy from a whole other world comes to her with a fantastical quest, she obviously must accept! She has an incredible amount of patience for everything - except her annoying neighbour, Charlie.
TARA
Tara is kind, smart and strong willed. Put her in any situation and she will find a way to understand and overcome it. Despite being the same age as Jonathan, she's a lot more laid back and secure, and knows how to stand up for herself.
CHARLIE
Charlie is goofy, mischevious and a menace to society - or at least just Kelsey. Fantastic at getting himself into all sorts of shenanigans and messes, and proven to be equally brilliant at getting himself out of them.
